It appears that the methodist church moved further down the road to the site of Sandon Road Methodist Church, which was built from 1918 to 1955, at the corner of Poplar Avenue.

By the early 21st century, until around 2018, it was a Black community church called The Redeemed Christian Church of God House of Praise.

The building may have been vacant from 2019 to 2022, when there was work here to rebuild it.

As of 2023, it is now St. George Eritrean Orthodox Tewahdo Church.
