A Grade II* listed 15th century building located in the grounds of St Nicolas' Church, Kings Norton. The Old Grammar School along with The Saracens Head won BBC Restoration in 2004.

Where is The Old Grammar School?

The Old Grammar School at Churchyard Lane, Kings Norton, Birmingham, B38 8TW. In the churchyard of St Nicolas' Church.

In brief

Dating to the 15th century. Grade II* listed building. Probably built as the priests house to the church. Ground floor brick with timber-framing on the upper level. Was a school in the 17th century.  The suffragettes targeted the building in the early 20th century. Restored after winning BBC's Restoration programme in 2004 (with The Saracen's Head).

But as of 2022 it is sadly closed again, due to a lack of funds.
